A key feature of the weekend is the QLD Dirt Master & Dirt Mistress Championships. One male and one female competitor will take home the title as QLD DIRT MASTER or DIRT MISTRESS CHAMPION.  Dirt Master competitors will push themselves to the limits in three gruelling long course events over two days in the aim to record the fastest cumulative time to take out this prestigious title.

Enter all three long course events to be in the running for the 'Dirt Master' & 'Dirt Mistress' Championship Award.

  • Saturday AM: Tre-X Off Road Triathlon (1000-28-10)
  • Saturday PM: 8km Trail Run
  • Sunday AM: FTR 50km XC MTB

HOW TO GET THERE

Wildeco is accessed from Steve Irwin Way.
Sunshine Coast Street Directory: Map 97 Reference B12

FROM THE SOUTH
Via Bruce Hwy & The Caloundra Turn Off

  • Head north on the Bruce Hwy
  • Take the Caloundra turn off (Exit 188) and follow signs for Landsborough.
  • After 300m turn right at the lights (signed Steve Irwin Way & Landsborough)
  • After 5.3km you will go past Old Caloundra Rd on the left and then a sign for the 'Big Kart Track'
  • 400m past the 'Big Kart Track' sign turn right into Wildeco Camp.
  • Go through the car park and enter through the gates.
  • Continue along the gravel road to the parking area
  • If the parking area is full turn back towards the gate and park on the left hand side of the road.

Alternative Route from the South
(via Steve Irwin Way
)

  • Head north on the Bruce Hwy
  • Turn onto Steve Irwin Way
  • Pass by Australia Zoo
  • 5.7km past Australia Zoo cross bridge across the dam
  • 900m past the bridge you will see the sign for the 'Big Kart Track'
  • 100m past the 'Big Kart Track' turn left into Wildeco.
  • Go through the car park and enter through the gates.
  • Continue along the gravel road to the parking area
  • If the parking area is full turn back towards the gate and park on the left hand side of the road.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is limited parking near HQ. If you are a day participant we encourage you to car pool to avoid a long walk to HQ.

FROM THE NORTH

  • Drive South on the Bruce Highway towards Brisbane.
  • Take the Caloundra turn off (Exit 188) and follow signs for Landsborough.

CATERING
Including Saturday Evening Presentation Dinner & Dirt Master Cafe Takeaway During the Day

The team from Mt Cotton Scouts will be back for the Dirt Fest Weekend and will be catering from Saturday morning to Sunday lunch time. Dinner and meals will be served in the Dining Hall. The Scouts do a fantastic job in our community, supporting some great work with young people in the Brisbane area. All proceeds go to the Scouts so we ask that you support their great efforts.

SATURDAY NIGHT PRESENTATION DINNER

Join us on Saturday evening for a 'Carb Loading' Presentation & Celebration dinner. The meal is great value for just $20 for adults and $10 for children under 10yrs.

The night will include:

  • Tre-X Series Championship Presentation: Including Long course, short course and teaser age group champions and the announcment of the Open Tre-X Series Champion.
  • Dirt Master & Dirt Mistress Updates
  • Buffet
  • Slideshow & Video from the day's action
  • Music... and maybe some dancing!
  • MC Coach Jeff from the MultiSport Podcast
  • And Much More

Bookings are essential. Book on line before Wednesday and pay cash on the night.

EVENT CATERING: Dirt Master Cafe

The Dirt Master Cafe will be open Saturday 7am to 5pm & Sunday 7am to Midday. No need to book, just pay cash on the day.

A Sausage Sizzle is included with each Tre-X & For the Riders XC MTB Entry. Look out for your voucher in your race pack! There will be no catering available on Friday.

CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION

Wildeco Camp offers camping and accommodation with full facilities including hot showers.

Camping With Vehicles: Non-Powered Sites

There are 20 sites available on the grassed area in front of HQ where campers may camp with vehicles (cars, camper trailer or caravan). The cost is $10 per person per night and includes the use of hot showers and toilet facilities. Bookings are essential and spaces will be allocated on a 'First in best dressed' basis.

Camping Without Vehicles: Non Powered Sites

Camping without vehicles will be located on the open grassed area in front of HQ and by the water around the dam. The cost is $10 per person per night and includes the use of hot showers and toilet facilities. Bookings are essential

Accommodation

The camp offers bunk bed accommodation in dormitory style rooms. Two large dormitory will be allocated to competitors staying on their own, one for Females & one for Males.

There are also other smaller rooms suitable for families or small groups which accommodate 6 to 8 people. There are communal showers and toilet facilities available in each accommodation block.

The Cost is $20 per person per night and bookings are essential.

Check In & Check Out

Check In Times

Campers and those staying in accommodation can check in during the following times:

  • Friday 20th April: 5pm to 9pm
  • Saturday 21st April: 5am to 7:30am
  • Saturday 21st April: 2pm to 5pm
  • No vehicles will be able to access the camping and/or accommodation sites during the Tre-X Off Road Triathlon.
  • Please do not arrive earlier than 5pm on Friday afternoon as you will not be able to access the site as it is booked for another group until 5pm.

Check Out

  • All campers, guests and participants must vacate the event site by 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
  • All camp sites and accommodation rooms must be left clean, with no damage and in the same condition as when they were occupied.
  • A cleaning and/or damage or replacement fee will be charged if no.

Conditions Of Entry
The In 2 Adventure Dirt Fest is a Family Focussed Weekend for those who love the peace & tranquility of the outdoors. In the spirit of the event all campers and participants are asked to comply with the following conditions:

  • No pets are allowed on site.
  • To demonstrate respect for those who may be competing early the next morning, there is to be no loud noise, including generators, music, shouting or loud discussions after 10pm. Those who choose not to demonstrate this respect will be asked to leave the event site.
  • Any form of drunkeness, disrespectful or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and any person being seen to cause a disturbance will be asked to leave the event site immediately.
  • All behaviour should be respectful of the family nature of the event.
  • Campers are asked to keep their camp area tidy and to take any rubbish home with them.

FAMILY DISCOUNTS

At In 2 Adventure we have kept entry costs for Dirt Fest to an absolute minimum, however we're keen to encourage as many families as possible to be a part of Dirt Fest. We do understand that entries for a large family can add up, so if you are a family unit, and members of your family are looking at taking part in a number of Dirt Fest Events, then email us at info@in2adventure.com.au PRIOR TO ENTERING with the following details:

  • Your name, telephone number & email address
  • The names of those in your family who will be taking part in Dirt Fest and the events they will be entering.

We will consider each request on an individual basis.

Important Information about Family Discounts

  • Entries must be for members of one family unit. Groups of friends are not eligible.
  • An email does not guarantee a discount. A family discount will be offered only at the discretion of the Event Managers.
  • Discounts will only be considered prior to entries being received. No refunds will be given as a result of a Family Discount.
  • Entries must be made on the same order.
  • If a discount is offered and the entry does not match the details in the email request In 2 Adventure reserve the right., without prior notice to debit the difference in entry fees from the credit card listed on the order.

Course Familiarisation Mornings are a great opportunity to come along to ride and run the course before event day.
