All the excitement of off road trail running comes to Dirt fest Victoria with the 8km Trail Run & 4km Fun Run

8km Trail Run
The 8km Trail Run is a hardcore off road race on a 8km circuit traversing the Grounds of Novotel Forest Resort and taking in the spectacular scenery in Creswick Retional Park. This course includes open trails, single track and some rocky descents.

4km Fun Run
And for those who are a little less adventurous or just want to come along and have a bit of fun, there's also a shorter 4km fun run event. The course is run off road, but the terrain is less demanding and takes in some beautiful scenery in Novotel Forest Resort. Suitable for kids over 10, beginners, and those just out to have a bit of fun, the 5km fun run will provide some off road adventure for everyone!

• On the Day Entries: $35

ENTRY FEE 4KM FUN RUN

• Online: $15
• On the Day Entries: $25

ENTRY CLOSURE

• Entries will close at 5pm on Thursday prior to the event. No entries can be accepted after this time.
• If the event is not full 'On the Day' entries will be accepted but will incur an additional $10 charge to cover adminstrative costs.

THE COURSE

8km Trail Run

This course takes in some spectacular and beautiful trails within Novotel Forest Resort and golf course , skirting Creswick Regional Park. But don't be lulled into a false sense of seurity, this is no walk in the park, this course is a true off road trail run where competitors will go off road along trails, single track, rocky trails, creek crossings and hills.

This is an OFF ROAD trail run, expect to get wet, muddy & dirty. An off road shoe gives runners the advantage of grip, stability & drainage which will be invaluable on this terrain.

4km Fun Run

The 4km Fun Run is a 4km circuit along trails and single track and includes some beautiful scenery. The run finishes at Race HQ. The fun run is suitable for those over 10 years of age, beginners and those just out to have a bit of fun and will provide some off road fun for everyone!

8km Trail Run Entry Categories:

• 'Age' is your age on the day of the event.
• Participants must be over 15 years of age on the day of the event to take part in the 10km event.

4km Fun Run Entry Categories:

• 'Age' is your age on the day of the event.
• Participants must be over 10 years of age on the day of the event to take part in the 5km event.

TOTAL FIRE BAN

Safety is our number one priority and to ensure we comply with permit requirements, in the event of a Total Fire Ban, the event will be cancelled.  In the event of a cancellation full details will be posted on the NEWS PAGE of the Dirt Fest Website at www.in2adventure.com.au/dirtfest

INSURANCE

In 2 Adventure has public liability insurance. This DOES NOT cover you as a participant.  If you fall off your bike or trip over and hurt yourself, there is no accident cover for you. In 2 Adventure recommends that all participants have their own personal accident insurance.

Prior to entering the event each participant will be required to read, understand & agree to the Release & Waiver.
