All the excitement of off road trail running comes to the In 2 Adventure Weekend Dirt fest with the Active Stride 6km Trail Run & 2km Fun Run
6km Trail Run
The 6km Trail Run is a short, fun off road race on a 4km & 2km circuit, with the course passing through, and finishing at Race HQ. The open trails, single track and hills promise a dirty afternoon of fun in the outdoors for everyone!
2km Fun Run
And for those of you who are a little less adventurous or who just want to come along and have a bit of fun, Active Stride is also offering a shorter 2km fun run event. The course is still run off road, but the terrain is flat and has some beautiful scenery as it traverses the circumference of the Slickers Lake.
Suitable for kids over 10, beginners, and those just out to have a bit of fun, the 2km fun run will provide some off road fun for everyone!

THE COURSE
6km Trail Run
The 6km course follows the circumference of Slickers Lake, with the 4km loop veering away from the lake and onto a picturesque single track to take in a challenging hill up onto the ridge above the dam, before descending back down to the dam and crossing the dam wall back to HQ. The 2km lap will follows the circumference of Slickers Lake before returning to HQ & the Finish.

2km Fun Run
The 2km Fun Run is a 2km run around the banks of Slickers Lake. The terrain is mainly single track and is relatively flat with some beautiful scenery. The run finishes at Race HQ which is based at the stage area on the banks of the lake.
The fun run is suitable for kids, beginners and those just out to have a bit of fun and will provide some off road fun for everyone!

INSURANCE
In 2 Adventure has public liability insurance. This DOES NOT cover you as a participant. If you fall off your bike or trip over a rock and hurt yourself, there is no accident cover for you. In 2 Adventure recommends that all participants have their own personal accident insurance.
Prior to entering the event each participant will be required to read, understand & agree to the Release & Waiver.

HOW TO GET THERE
Slickers is accessed from Denham Rd, Kurwongbah.

From the City
- Drive North on Gympie Road and take the Strathpine Road exit.
- Travel approx 7km through Strathpine to Petrie.
- Turn left at the roundabout onto Dayboro Rd.
- Travel approx 4.5km (past North Pine Country Park) and turn Right onto Scout Rd.
- Travel approx 3.3km (Go past Murrenbong Scout Camp and the Lakeside Bowmen) and turn left onto Denham Rd.
- After 2.2km Denham road veers Right and is signed McCormack Rd South. The entrance to Slickers is straight ahead at this junction.
- Travel onto the dirt track and through the gate.
- After 200m the track veers left.
- After a further 500m turn left at the T Junction
- After a further 600m veer left at the old Woodcutters shack and follow the signs to Race HQ and Park where directed.
From the North
- Drive South on the Bruce Highway.
- Take the Anzac Ave exit and travel along Anzac Ave for approx 5.7km.
- Turn right at the roundabout onto Dayboro Rd and travel approx 4.5km.
- Travel approx 4.5km (past North Pine Country Park) and turn Right onto Scout Rd.
- Travel approx 3.3km (Go past Murrenbong Scout Camp and the Lakeside Bowmen) and turn left onto Denham Rd.

Competitors under 18 years of age
For competitors under 18 years of age a parent / guardian must read and sign a copy of the Parental Consent Form agreeing to the terms and conditions of the event. ENTRY CONDITIONS
- All competitors must complete the on line entry form, pay the entry fee and agree to the terms and conditions before their entry is accepted.
- Entry fees & registrations are non-transferable from one competitor to another. It is forbidden to participate in an event under another competitor’s registration, without notifying the organisers. Competitors that do not obey this rule waive all insurance coverage & put other competitors at risk.
- Entry Fees & registrations are only transferable to another event at the discretion of the Event Managers. Requests must be made in writing. Please refer to the Transfer Policy.
Where an event has sold out entries may close without notice. A notification will appear on this website page.
